Where You Stand Now
Everyone wants a top ACT or SAT score, but are you actually prepared to put in the effort required to get one?
More accurate than your GPA, your class rank may provide the best initial estimate of your score. If you’re in the top 5% of your class, you should score in the top 5% of all test takers, while if you’re in the top 30% of your class, you might score in the top 30% of all test takers.
If you want to score higher than where you fall within the chart above, you’re going to have to put in some serious effort. There isn’t a way to calculate the exact number of hours you’ll need to study, but a quick online search shows that many estimates indicate you need between 30-80 hours to get a higher score that reflects your academic achievement. Each of our programs suggests about 50 hours, spread out over either six, seven, or eight weeks.
